Large size medal with ribbon stamped 7650 PTE. F. LIDDIARD. 9 LANC: FUS:, couple of edge bruises. London Gazette, 28th January 1918 - 7650 Pte. F. Liddiard, Lan. Fus. (Birchvale). Born in 1887, Fred Liddiard, a resident of Birchvale, Derbyshire, served in the Balkans theatre of war from 11th July 1915. He was later transferred to France where he was awarded his Military Medal. He was discharged to Class Z Army Reserve on 15th March 1919.
